COVID-19 Safety
At Franklin Manor Bed and Breakfast, our team shares your concerns and preparedness for travel and lodging during the COVID-19 state. We remain proactive and diligent in our efforts to promote health and safety by following the current Centers for Disease Control, CDC, guidelines and beyond. We are dedicated to doing everything possible to protect everyone’s health and safety. When you visit our property, you will notice heightened measures for housekeeping, sanitization and cleaning. Dining and seating areas are designed to maximize your enjoyment of all our amenities while respecting social distancing standards with you and other guests’ safety in mind.
The safety of our guests and associates is of paramount importance. We encourage our guests to review all federal, state, and local permitted traveler guidance before making a reservation and before travel, as this guidance is being updated frequently.
Travel, as we have known it, has evolved due to COVID-19. We strive to provide you with the relaxing and comfortable environment in a historic home while maintaining a safe environment so you and all guests can enjoy your Adirondack stay with us, worry-free.

COVID Protocol & Operating Procedures
While staying with us, we ask you to follow our social distancing guidelines which include, but are not limited to:

Maintaining 6 feet between you and other parties.

If you are unvaccinated, wearing a face mask at all times in public areas.

Washing your hands on a regular basis.
Hard surfaces of the common areas, touch points and guest rooms are frequently cleaned and sanitized with a commercial hospital grade disinfectant, Mediclean or equivalent, approved by the EPA for effective elimination of the COVID virus.
All staff will log daily their responses to the presence of any cough, fever of shortness of breath. If they report any symptoms associated with COVID, they will not report for work until medically cleared.
All staff are currently vaccinated and will wear masks while preparing and handling food that will be consumed by guests.
All Staff will maintain sanitary hand washing techniques to reduce the possibility of contamination or cross contamination.
We ask that all unvaccinated guests to wear Personal Protective Equipment, PPE to protect themselves and others within common areas.
In order to ensure enough time to sanitize guest rooms between stays, check-in will begin at 3 pm and check out will be at 11 am. We will not be able to offer early check-ins or late check outs. Every room is deep-cleaned with CDC-approved disinfectants after each check-out.
Fresh linens and towels are always provided to our guests at the beginning of each stay and per request.
In-room services will be upon request for fresh linens, towels or toiletries. No Staff will enter any guest room after check-in unless requested or approved by the guest.
